Plan your first Blue Bay massage: choose your time, discuss comfortable pressure, and know what is included.

For your first massage, start with the time you have, the areas you want attention on, and the kind of pressure you enjoy. At Blue Bay Massage Spa in Vancouver, the conversation before your session helps shape the visit around those preferences.

Choose the length of your first massage

A 30-minute full-body massage is an option when you want a shorter introduction or focused attention. An hour gives you more time to settle in and discuss a broader plan. Ninety minutes leaves more room for an unhurried session. A longer appointment does not mean you have to choose deeper pressure.

Look at the prices below, then choose the duration that fits your schedule. If the option you want is not listed online, call the spa before making another selection.

Discuss pressure before your first massage

Tell your therapist where you would like attention and which areas you would like to avoid. Describe pressure in everyday terms: light, moderate, or firmer. You can ask for a change after the session begins; you do not have to keep a preference that stops feeling comfortable.

  • Share any health concerns that may affect the session.
  • Ask about the session setup and anything you are uncertain about.
  • Tell your therapist if you would like to skip hot stones.

Hot stones and extras on a first visit

Hot stones are complimentary with every Blue Bay massage. Foot Massage and Special Combination also come with a foot scrub. These extras are optional: let the team know if heat or a scrub does not suit you. For a first visit, a clear conversation matters more than trying every option.
